Looking for men who would like to study the bible, hold each other accountable and enjoy the blessings of the outdoors. If you like golf, hiking, shooting and fishing, these are the areas I plan to pursue on our weeknight.
Crew Night is one of the most important things we do at GP+Y. This night is simply a collection of small groups for students to connect with Jesus and others. Each Crew is built around their age and gender so everyone has a Crew that’s designed for them. Every Crew Leader is prepared to lead practical, relevant conversations so students can discover how to live out their faith.
It is for freedom that Christ set us free. That’s what Paul wrote in Galatians 5:1, and Jesus himself said that He came to earth so that we may have life and have it to the full (John 10:10). Just imagine that: life abundant. Not barely surviving, but truly living. Laughter. Hope. Restoration. Purpose. Freedom. This is the kind of life God wants you to have, and through this study, you’ll discover why this is His desire and also how you can experience it each and every day.
What does following Jesus look like after high school? This small group will dive into how we can honor God with our time, relationship, and finances all while figuring out this ‘adulting’ thing. We’ll have a few fun weekend activities together too and (possibly the best part) … FREE FOOD every week.
Does your soul lift in song when you hear the first few bars of a favorite hymn? We will learn the stories behind them, reflect the impact hymns have on us as we read, hear and sing the great hymns of faith. Get reacquainted with these wonderful, old hymns.
Based on Mark Gungor's wildly popular seminar, "Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage(R)" By using his unique blend of humor and tell-it-like-it-is honesty, he helps couples get along and have fun doing it. Through exploring a variety of subjects including the myth of a "soul mate," the different ways men and women think, the conflicting levels of libido, and the necessity to forgive, Gungor proves that the key to marital bliss is not romance or destiny -- it's work and skill. Couples need to work hard at maintaining their relationship and to have the skills to pull it off. The longer spouses wait to learn these skills, the greater their chance of wanting to bail, yet Gungor makes it easy for couples to bring their relationship to the next level.
